Terms and Conditions of Service
By purchasing a service, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws.
Cancellation of Contract
Sunbeam Dog Training reserves the right to cancel the contract at any time if any dog/s under the contract do not respond well to the therapy plan, or are deemed a risk.
Safety Measures
- All dogs will be on lead during training unless otherwise instructed by Sunbeam Dog Training.
- Training sessions may be cut short due to extreme weather conditions or if the dog is not coping well. Alternative sessions will be offered where possible.
- Dogs known to bite may be asked to wear a muzzle. Sunbeam Dog Training is not liable for dogs not muzzled.
- Participants partake at their own risk; Sunbeam Dog Training is not liable for any accidents or injuries during or between training sessions.
- Dogs must be always kept under control when Sunbeam Dog Training enters your premises. Failure to do so and any injury caused by your dog being out of control will be your full responsibility.
- In some cases, stooge dogs may be used. Clients are responsible for keeping their dog at a safe distance and may require the dog to wear a muzzle during these sessions.
Payment and Refunds
All services must be paid for at the time of booking.
- Refunds or partial refunds for missed sessions are not given.
- No refunds for cancellations.
- Private training sessions must be used within the specified time frame:
- 3 session packages within 7 weeks from booking.
- 6 session packages within 14 weeks from booking.
- 9 session packages within 21 weeks from booking.
- Failure to schedule all sessions will result in lost sessions, and no refunds or credit notes will be offered.
- Sessions are subject to Sunbeam Dog Training's availability.
Sunbeam Dog Club
- Sunbeam Dog Club memberships auto-renew each month.
- Payments will automatically be deducted via your chosen payment method.
- Members may cancel their Sunbeam Dog Club membership before the subscription renewal.
- There is no minimum commitment, but part-used months will not be refunded.
- If membership is cancelled, any promotional discounts on the subscription will be forfeited.
- Rejoining the membership will be at the monthly pricing at the time of rejoining, subject to availability.
- In-person sessions may be rearranged by Sunbeam Dog Training to be held online via Zoom.
Calm Canines Club
- Calm Canines Club memberships auto-renew each month.
- Payments will automatically be deducted via your chosen payment method.
- Members may cancel their Calm Canines Club membership before the subscription renewal.
- There is no minimum commitment, but part-used months will not be refunded.
- If membership is cancelled, any promotional discounts on the subscription will be forfeited.
- Re-joining the membership will be at the monthly pricing at the time of re-joining, subject to availability.
- Monthly webinars may be rearranged by Sunbeam Dog Training to alternative dates/times where necessary.
- Clients are 100% responsible for their progress and results. Training outcomes vary based on factors including background, dedication, desire, motivation, and personal support in their lives.
Client Responsibilities - One to One Training
- Clients must report/check in regularly about their dog’s progress via WhatsApp or Email.
- Consent may be required to contact the vet in case of behavioural issues.
- Session notes and exercises will be communicated within 72 hours of the end of a session; unforeseen circumstances may affect this timeframe. Clients must review this information and seek clarification if necessary.
- Clients are 100% responsible for their progress and results. Training outcomes vary based on factors including background, dedication, desire, motivation, and personal support in their lives.
Aversive Equipment and Harness Use
- No aversive equipment should be used, including but not limited to:
- Choke collars
- Prong collars
- Electric collars
- Slip leads
- Dogs must attend in person sessions in a harness; contact Sunbeam Dog Training for recommendations.
Health and Vaccinations
- Ill dogs must not attend in-person sessions.
Photographs and Media
- Photographs may be published on the website or social media.
- Clients agree to Sunbeam Dog Training sharing photos and success stories.
Testimonials and Privacy
- Clients may be asked to write a testimonial.
- All information collected by Sunbeam Dog Training is for internal use and will not be shared.
